Hu Xiangcheng, one of the leading contemporary artists in China, and Tetsuya Nakamura, a craft artist in Japan,have collaborated to create a splendorous gate created with a Japanese traditional craftwork technique”Shitsugei” (lacquer) besed on the theme of “gate god”widely known to Chinese people.
