TOSHIO SHIMIZU ART OFFICE has recently produced artworks for
OTEMACHI FINANCIAL CITY which celebrated its grand opening on
1st of November 2012.
　　
On the East-side of the buildings, a sculpture named
“Spiritual wall with certain surface” by Katsuhito Nishikawa welcomes
people visiting the business area. The sculpture has clean and universal impression
which come from a subtle contrast between its materials, white marble and withe concrete.
　　
On the West-side of the buildings, there is a series of sculptures
“Keys of Affinity” by Kate Thomson, inviting people to touch and sit on the sculptures.
The human scale and endearing character of the sculptures create a relaxing atmosphere.
